What's your best time in an 800m race?, or the 100m or the 10,000m? How fast were you going? Enter the length of the race and the time you did, click the Calculate button and this calculator will convert it into lots of different ways to look at how fast you were going. The Speed Calculator has two areas your data entry and then two tables of your output. To enter the data all distances are measured in metres. So remember to convert kilometres to metres you will need to add 3 zeros on the end.  All time is recorded in minutes and seconds.

The results your produce from the speed calculator input will come out in a variety of forms  You can also find a report on your speed in terms of kilometres per hour, metres per minute and metres per second. There is also a report on the time it takes you to travel certain distances.  This report shows you min:sec per kilometre, seconds per 100 metres and seconds per metre. - especially for the athlete we a conversion to the times for all track distances from 100m through to 10,000 m (10k).
